Overview

mTarsier is a comprehensive MCP management platform built in Rust that provides a unified dashboard for managing MCP servers across various AI clients like Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code, and more. It features a marketplace for discovering and installing MCP servers, a skills management system, and CLI tools for terminal-based operations. The platform automatically detects installed clients and provides configuration editors with syntax highlighting and validation. It also offers auto-backup capabilities and supports multiple themes.

Try asking AI

After installing, here are 7 things you can ask your AI assistant:

you:Centralizing MCP server management across multiple AI clients
you:Discovering and installing new MCP servers through a marketplace
you:Managing custom skills across different AI development environments
you:Automating MCP server configuration with CLI tools
you:What is mTarsier?
you:How does mTarsier manage multiple clients?
you:Is mTarsier a free tool?

When to choose this

Choose mTarsier when you need a unified solution to manage MCP servers and skills across multiple AI clients like Claude, Cursor, and VS Code without switching between different configuration files.

When NOT to choose this

Avoid mTarsier if you're looking for a lightweight tool with minimal dependencies or if you only need to manage MCP servers for a single client like only Claude Desktop.
